Jacksonville Journal-Courier invites you to be a part of our Newspaper in Education program

We now can offer you the opportunity to have the Journal-Courier delivered to you whenever it fits into your lesson plans. We can start delivery as early as the first day of school if you would like.

We have a flexible delivery schedule. You can order the paper for once a week, every day, every other week, or just once a month. We try to fit into your curriculum planning as best we can.

The special features you can plan on when you pick the day or days you would like to receive the paper:

MONDAY -- Military briefs/Neighbors briefs/Your Business/The Way We Were

TUESDAY -- Health/Learning/The Mini Page

WEDNESDAY -- Food & Nutrition/Serial Story

THURSDAY -- Arts & Entertainment/Fling/News of the Weird/Classpicks

FRIDAY -- Religion/Classroom Connections

EVERY DAY -- Local news & state news, national & world news, weather, opinions, (editorials and letters to the editor), Today In History, advice, For The Record, Marketplace classifieds, sports, comics, Farm & Business

You will receive a monthly newsletter with newspaper activities you can use in your classroom and information about N.I.E. events.

* NIE ORDER FORM (343KB PDF) -- Download, print and mail this order form. Newspapers can be ordered only by teachers, administrators, or supervisory personnel who have an academic purpose for using the newspaper as an instructional tool.
