Ben Stanberry, 5, of Arenzville, tosses dirt into a bucket as his little brother, Sam, 4, gets taken down by Chapin Sweatman, 5, of Beardstown, Monday afternoon at the Cass County Fair in Virginia. The boys said they weren’t playing — they were working. The were trying to recreate an obstacle course for remote control cars that was a feature of the fair in the past. The fair kicked off Sunday with a horse show and ends Saturday with a demolition derby. Tuesday’s highlights include goat, poultry and sheep shows and the royalty contests.
